Nestled in Charlotte, North Carolina, Sweet Black Magic is a home-based bakery dedicated to serving our vibrant community. We specialize in creating nostalgic, home-style desserts and treats made exclusively with locally-sourced organic flour, eggs, and dairy from North Carolina farmers. As a Black queer-owned business, our culinary inspiration is deeply rooted in the rich traditions and recipes of Black American cooking.

At Sweet Black Magic, our mission is to nourish both the body and spirit with our decadent and soul-satisfying creations. In a world where preservatives, unfamiliar chemicals, and questionable food preparation methods prevail, our bakery strives to engage in a broader dialogue concerning food, well-being, and social equity. Every item we craft is infused with love and intention, using ingredients that are not only recognizable but also pronounceable.
